Home Inventory for Insurance

Last updated: October 2, 2026 · Android package: com.ragheb.homeinventory

What the app stores

The app does not require an account. Its inventory and policy records are saved in app-private storage on your device. These can include room and item names, categories, brand and model, serial number, purchase date, values and notes, plus policyholder name, insurer, policy number and contents limit. The current Android configuration excludes app data from cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. The reviewed app source does not upload these records to a developer server or automatically synchronize them to another device. Some Android 12+ manufacturers may still allow device-to-device migration despite these configuration rules; behavior has not been verified across manufacturers.

Items are entered manually. The app does not use the camera, scan receipts, or attach photos or receipt files. Android notification permission is declared for optional campaign announcements; the reviewed app source does not declare camera, contacts, location, microphone, SMS, or shared-storage permissions.

Optional campaign notifications

Campaign announcements are off unless you turn them on in the app and grant Android notification permission. When enabled, Firebase Cloud Messaging processes a device messaging token and topic subscriptions (for this app, its category, and the portfolio) to route campaign messages. The app does not send your inventory or policy records as notification data. Turning the setting off asks Firebase to remove topic subscriptions, disables automatic messaging registration, and requests token deletion. Provider-side processing and deletion timing are governed by Firebase.

Firebase is a Google service. See Firebase privacy and security information and Google's Privacy Policy.

PDFs and sharing

A PDF contains the inventory and policy information shown in it, including values you entered. The app does not send a generated PDF to an insurer. Printing, saving, or sharing it is your choice; once sent to another app or service, that destination's privacy terms apply. Remove exported copies separately from the destination where you saved or shared them.

Purchases and advertising

If a one-time Pro purchase is enabled in your app release, Google Play processes payment and the app's configured purchase-verification service checks the entitlement. The app developer does not receive your payment-card number from Google Play. Google's and the configured service's own data practices apply.

The checked-in Flutter source reviewed on October 2, 2026 contains no Google Mobile Ads SDK, ad request, or ad placement. The signed release and account-side advertising behavior have not been independently verified.

Retention and deletion

Your inventory and policy records remain in app-private storage until you delete individual records, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall it. Clearing storage or uninstalling removes the app's local records. PDFs printed, saved, or shared outside the app are separate and must be deleted from their destination.

Children

The app is a general household organization tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through an account or developer-operated inventory service. Optional messaging and purchases are handled by their respective providers as described above.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when the app's data practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. For privacy questions, contact raghebtube@gmail.com.
