Job Photo Log

Last updated: October 2, 2026 · Android package: com.ragheb.jobphotolog

1. What this policy covers

This policy describes the Job Photo Log mobile app. The app does not require an account. Its job-record features are designed to work offline. This policy distinguishes job information kept on your device from the optional notification and purchase services that use the network.

2. Information you enter and keep on your device

The app stores information you choose to enter, which can include client names and contact details, manually entered job addresses, trade or job type, job status and dates, notes, material descriptions and costs, labor-hour entries, and contractor profile details. Camera photos, captions, and capture times are stored in the app's local files. The app does not upload these job records, profile details, or photo files to a job-record server.

The app does not request device-location permission or add a GPS stamp. A photo may still contain metadata supplied by your camera or device, including a location tag if the camera app added one. Review a photo before sharing it if that matters to you.

PDF activity reports are generated from the saved job details on your device. They contain a photo log or summary, not the image files. The report is not independently verified or certified. If you choose to print, save, or share a report or photo, the destination you choose may receive that content and handle it under its own terms.

3. Optional campaign notifications

Campaign notifications are optional. The app asks for notification permission only when you turn on the campaign-notification control in settings. If you opt in and allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging processes a device registration token and topic subscriptions for this app, its app category, and the app portfolio so the notification service can deliver announcements. Google may process this information to provide the Firebase service. Job records, client details, and photos are not sent with these subscriptions.

You can turn campaign notifications off in the app settings or disable notifications in your device settings. Turning them off requests removal from campaign topics and disables the messaging registration; removal can take time if the device is offline.

4. Google Play purchases

The app offers an optional one-time lifetime Pro purchase that raises the limit on active jobs. Google Play processes checkout and provides the purchase result. To verify the purchase and restore the entitlement, the app sends the Android package name, product ID, and purchase token to the purchase-verification service over HTTPS. The service checks the purchase with Google Play and stores an entitlement record keyed using a one-way hash of the token. Payment-card details are handled by Google Play and are not received by the app.

5. Advertising and analytics

The reviewed app source contains no Google Mobile Ads SDK or ad placements, so it does not currently request or display ads. An AdMob application identifier remains in Android configuration; that identifier alone does not display ads. No separate analytics SDK or analytics event upload was found in the reviewed app source.

6. Permissions and network access

The Android release manifest inspected for this review includes Internet and network-state access for Firebase notifications and purchase verification, plus notification permission. The app does not declare location, microphone, contacts, or broad shared-storage permissions. Camera access is used to capture job photos through the platform camera flow; iOS also displays its camera permission prompt.

7. Storage, retention, and deletion

From a job's menu, choose Delete Job and confirm to remove that job's details, notes, photo entries, materials, and labor records from the app. Photo files stored in the app's private photo folder are removed with the job; files outside that folder are left untouched. PDF reports are generated through Android's print/share flow rather than kept as app files. Copies you previously saved or shared elsewhere remain with the destination. You can also clear app storage in Android Settings or uninstall the app to remove remaining local data. Android cloud backup and device-to-device data transfer are disabled in the inspected app configuration. Some Android 12+ manufacturers may still allow device-to-device migration despite these rules; behavior has not been verified across manufacturers.

Purchase-verification records are retained by the service as needed to check and restore purchases and handle purchase changes. Firebase notification registration is used while campaign notifications are enabled; opting out requests its removal as described above.

8. Children's privacy

Job Photo Log is a general work-recording utility and is not designed for children. It does not ask users to provide a child's information.

9. Changes to this policy

When the app's data practices change, this page should be updated to describe the change. The date above identifies the latest revision of this policy.
