Privacy summary
Photo Metadata Inspector
Android package ID: com.ragheb.photo_metadata_cleaner
This summary reflects review of the checked-in Android source for the package shown below, dated September 30, 2026. It does not establish behavior in a signed release or provider-side retention and deletion.
The essentials
- On Android, selected photos are inspected on-device for readable EXIF data including possible GPS, device, identity, timestamp, and camera fields. The inspected source flow does not upload, rewrite, or save selected photos to an app database.
- Firebase campaign topics require saved in-app opt-in and notification permission. Google Mobile Ads uses a UMP consent-information/form flow before ad requests; provider data retention/deletion is not established.
- The signed release, final merged manifest, exact ad configuration, and Google Play Data Safety answers are not verified.
Notifications
The checked-in Android source initializes Firebase Cloud Messaging. The shared notification code gates campaign-topic subscription on saved in-app opt-in and Android notification permission. Firebase may process a device registration token and service data; turning opt-in off requests topic unsubscription, but does not establish token deletion. Provider processing, token retention, and server-side deletion behavior have not been verified.
Your choices
The reviewed Android source does not save selected photos or inspection findings in an app database. Clear the app's storage or uninstall it to remove app-private preferences. Copies held by your gallery or other apps are separate. Firebase and Google ad-provider data are outside this app-local control; their retention and deletion behavior have not been verified.
Contact and full policy
Support contact is being confirmed. This app-specific policy was checked against the checked-in Android source and package ID. It does not verify a signed release, the final merged manifest, Google Play Data Safety answers, production ad configuration, or Firebase/Google provider-side processing, retention, or deletion.
